No Stable Ground emerges from an intimate experience of displacement and the search for orientation within an unstable present. Through objects, maps, stones, branches and structures, the project builds a fragmented atlas in which the body seeks balance between permanence and ruin. The images appear as traces of gestures: arranging, supporting, stacking, observing and turn photography into a place of suspension. Without assuming a documentary reading, the series approaches a present marked by the loss of reference points and the possibility of reconstruction. The ground is never fixed, yet it is upon it that one attempts to begin again.
