Ana Amaro, better known as Super Nervosa, invites participants to join a photographic walk through the Miguel Bombarda Cultural Quarter, transforming the act of observation into a playful experience of discovery through colours, shapes, and images. By paying close attention to details and to the relationships that emerge between people, objects, and contexts, participants will collectively create a hypernarrative that is both individual and shared, revealing new perspectives on the area and its dynamics.
Workshop exploring street photography, light techniques, and punctum.
Participants are required to bring their own photographic equipment (a smartphone or any device capable of capturing images). Open to beginners.
Participation is free and open to all ages from 6 years old.
Trained in Fashion Design, Ana Amaro has been dedicated to photography since her teenage years. Through fashion magazines, she discovered the connection between the two disciplines that continue to define her creative practice: image and design. Her first projects emerged naturally through editorial and portrait photography, interests she further developed during her Fashion Design degree, frequently incorporating photography into her academic work.
She works in product and portrait photography for brands and entrepreneurs, as well as wedding reportage and the documentation of artistic and gastronomic events. Her approach is characterised by an attentive and observant eye, focused on details, visual narratives, and the relationships between people, objects, and contexts.
Originally from the Ribatejo region and now based in Porto — a city where she had always aspired to live — she finds her primary source of inspiration in urban environments and the dynamics of everyday life. Her work values the authenticity of places and people, celebrating spontaneity, informal gestures, and genuine moments that reveal the uniqueness of each story.
