Joana Valente, a visual artist from Porto who has been collaborating with the Simultaneous Openings event since 2019, developing work in the areas of accessibility to the arts and inclusive entrepreneurship, actively participates with her individual project “Abraçar o Mundo” and will lead an activity for children.

This proposal, in addition to addressing recycling and the circular use of materials—transforming discarded objects into platforms for artistic experimentation—invites reflection on human diversity, empathy, and the creation of spaces of belonging.
