𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲. 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗺 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆.


In the province of Petorca, communities today approach the landscape from a mythical perspective, since soil degradation has led to the extinction of ecosystems. No one has witnessed the actual return of water to the now-dry river, which nonetheless remains a collective memory for those born, arrived, and remaining in the territory.

Camil Navarro invokes Limca, the spirit of water, to begin a sound ritual that brings perception to the region's various water sources — faintly audible amid the silence and the eroded soil, through sounds that transgress, expand and subvert the human voice.

This work-in-progress showing by Camil Navarro is the result of a residency held at CRL – Central Elétrica, as part of the programme developed with the support of Iberescena, which this year was dedicated to ecophilosophy.

Most of our spaces at CACE are accessible to visitors with limited mobility. However, the exterior pavement is cobbled and includes some ramps with a slope.

The venue offers free parking, and food and drinks will be available for purchase on site.
