Guitars, mandolins, and instruments of the same family come together for a concert that highlights the uniqueness of a true plectrum orchestra. Founded in Porto in 2007, Orquestra Portuguesa de Guitarras e Bandolins has established itself through the performance of original works and transcriptions of classical and folk music, bringing together a large ensemble that has performed in Portugal and abroad. Part of the guitar cycle at Casa da Música, this concert offers the opportunity to hear the instrument in a vibrant collective setting.
