FITEI A Memória do Aqueduto
A Memória do Aqueduto, de Carlos Costa e Jorge Palinhos
Espetáculo pensado para um reservatório de água desativado no Amial
FITEI A Memória do Aqueduto

A Memória do Aqueduto is a show designed for a decommissioned water reservoir in the city of Porto, in the Amial area.

The project continues Visões Úteis' site-specific creations and brings Carlos Costa and Jorge Palinhos back together, after their most recent collaborations between board games, virtual reality and statues in the public space.

This time we'll meet an engineer from Porto's water company and another from Athens' water company - yes, it sounds like a play for engineers, all the more so because the performers are actually engineers with experience in water management; both in search of solutions to the dystopian problems in which their cities risk floating or sinking: water that is no longer drinkable and sanitation that threatens to swallow us up.

The show is a sensory invitation to immerse yourself in a unique space and heritage of the city of Porto, in a seductive visual and sound register, in which one of humanity's most serious concerns is mixed with a retro science fiction environment.
