The band “Tem Calma, Siga!” was formed in 2023 by twin brothers João and Filipe Teixeira, founders of Plano B (bass and electric guitar), together with their younger brother Ricardo Teixeira (drums) and Pedro Lopes (vocals).
More than just a concert, the band’s performances take the form of an almost theatrical musical performance, featuring the alter egos Ivan Carlo, Fillipo Lippi, Riccardo Patrese and Luís da Cruz. These characters draw inspiration from Porto’s popular cultural imagination and from the culture of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, creating an irreverent, festive and participatory experience.
The repertoire is geared towards dancing and celebration, featuring Portuguese versions and adaptations of popular, rock and punk songs by artists such as Marco Paulo, Marante, Peste & Sida, Ena Pá 2000, António Variações and José Malhoa, among others.
