Through the Creative Showcase “Feira da Onça” – Practices of Resistance in the Art Worlds, we are bringing together 36 creatively nonconformist artists, as well as alternative networks of cooperation, independent spaces and new formats for artistic creation and expression.

Through this initiative, we seek to give visibility to and integrate emerging artists into a project that, despite its established trajectory, continues to assert itself as a space open to experimentation, diversity and renewal, embracing different forms of artistic expression and creative practices. More than an event, Inaugurações Simultâneas constitutes a dynamic network of artists, creators, galleries, spaces and cultural agents that, over the years, has contributed to transforming and consolidating Porto’s independent art scene.

Over these nearly two decades, Inaugurações Simultâneas has established itself not merely as a regular programme of events, but as a platform for encounter and participation, capable of bringing together different languages, practices and creative communities, contributing to the creation of a vibrant, diverse and constantly evolving cultural territory.
