This workshop is part of the *Novas Substâncias* (New Substances) exhibition, which brings together works by students from the Master’s program in Artistic Practices and Research at ESAP. The exhibition is coordinated by Nuno Ramalho and Pedro Huet, and curated by Miguel Seabra. *Atrito* (Friction) combines automatic writing and visual arts in a graphic experiment regarding image mutation. Using India ink, tracing paper, and collage, the workshop explores how text and forms transform and fragment throughout the process of visual abstraction.
