A day walking with the rivers! As part of the worldwide Walking Rivers event, Renato Lainho (wildframesportugal) and RIOS+ are organizing this 6km walk (12km optional) from the Porto riverfront to the river's mouth in the estuary.

*MEETING POINT* Pillars of the D. Maria II Suspension Bridge, Ribeira, 400-509 Porto

Between conversations and pauses to enjoy the sounds of the river, we will observe the fauna along the route and in particular in the RNED (Douro Estuary Natural Reserve).

Come, bring your family and friends and let's enjoy the great Douro River!

Tips:
- Bring water and snacks. Those staying at the reserve/beach can bring lunch for a picnic.
- Blue T-shirt/sweater, the color of the water.
- Good spirits and curiosity.
- Bird guide.
- Binoculars or similar.
