There is a table set.
It is not just a table. It is the floor, the walls, time itself, hands and stories, life — everything intertwined in a single space, a single unit of measure.
We live surrounded by quick answers, results and certainties. At ACASO, we are interested in something else: asking questions, exploring unexpected paths, failing, starting again, and discovering the pleasure of creating without knowing exactly where we will end up.
After the success of our last Summer at the Table, we became even more certain of something: bringing children and adults to the same table is something truly special. When different generations create side by side, experiences intersect, perspectives multiply, and everyone ends up learning from one another. Children bring spontaneity and freedom; adults bring different references, experiences and ways of seeing. And together, they create possibilities that might never emerge in quite the same way separately.
This is the experience we want to continue exploring for one week in September.
We will draw, paint, shape clay, build, write, explore unexpected materials and let our imagination guide us. But the materials are only the starting point.
What we really want to nurture is curiosity. The freedom to experiment. The confidence to look at things differently, to transform an idea and allow it to transform us too.
More than a series of workshops, this is a week to slow down. To create without rushing. To share a table, stories, questions and discoveries with people of different ages and experiences.
The September Laboratories are for everyone from 8 to 100 years old. For anyone who feels like exploring, imagining and creating, regardless of the experience they bring with them.
Because we believe that creativity does not belong to a particular age.
It belongs to those who remain open to being surprised.
There is a table set.
We’re waiting for you.
