40 years after the iconic Cairo, Taxi are back on stage to celebrate a career full of hits that undeniably places them as one of the most remarkable bands in Portuguese popular music. Influenced by post-punk, new wave and ska, Taxi released their first album in 1981, a homonymous record that would become the first gold disc in Portuguese rock. A year later, they won the award again with the aforementioned Cairo. To date, the group from Porto has recorded five original albums, with songs as famous as "Chiclete", "TV WC", "TAXI", "Vida de Cão", "Lei da Selva", "Rosete", "Cairo", "Fio da Navalha" or "Sozinho", among many others that are part of the imagination of thousands and thousands of Portuguese and that this celebrated concert promises to recover.
