Ricardo Jacinto is a musician, visual artist, and architect. His work explores the relationships between sound, improvisation, and territory through transdisciplinary practices. He is a founding member and current artistic director of OSSO – Associação Cultural, having been a doctoral researcher at the Sonic Arts Research Centre at Queen’s University Belfast (2014–2018). With a continuous interest in collaborative and collective processes, he has been developing projects since 1998 with artists, musicians, architects, and performers, presenting his work internationally in exhibitions, concerts, and performances. As a cellist and composer, he is an active presence in the electroacoustic and improvised music scene, performing regularly in Portugal and Europe, both solo and in various collective formations. He has composed music for film, dance, and theatre, including the film “Légua”, by Filipa Reis and João Miller Guerra, and the experimental opera “Dois Dias Para Além Do Tempo”, directed by Óscar Silva. His current work focuses on a solo project for cello, electronics, and resonant objects. He is part of the trio The Selva (with Gonçalo Almeida and Pedro Oliveira) and directs groups such as MEDUSA Unit and IOU [Incomplete Open Unit]. Ricardo Jacinto has released several albums and collaborated on many others as a guest musician. His music is published by Clean Feed, Shhpuma Records, OSSO, and Creative Sources. His sculptural and installation work is included in several public and private collections, including the Serralves Foundation, CACE, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the Leal Rios Foundation, and the António Cachola Foundation. In collaboration with the architect Pancho Guedes, he represented Portugal at the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale (2006). His work has been presented in institutions and spaces such as Culturgest (Lisbon and Porto), Serralves Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Palais de Tokyo, MUDAM Luxembourg, Teatro Maria Matos, TBA, Museo Vostell, Casa da Música, CCB, Manifesta 8, FRAC Lorraine (Metz), OK Centre (Linz) and Artissima (Turin). In 2023, the CCB (Lisbon) presented a cycle dedicated to his performance work, including concerts and a masterclass, and in 2024 he was a guest artist at the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal (Porto).

Francisco Pedro Oliveira, interested in Portuguese ethnography, apotropaic phenomena, and vernacular knowledge, develops his practice navigating between folklore and sound exploration. Attracted by different forms of language, he explores syncretic notions of spirituality in his works through diverse disciplines, articulating sound, sculpture, painting, photography, and installation.
He is a multidisciplinary artist, with a degree in Fine Arts from FBAUP and a postgraduate degree in Multimedia, in the area of ​​Sound Design and Interactive Music from FEUP, and a master's student in New Media Art at the Catholic University of Portugal. He was born in Santa Maria da Feira and is based in Porto, where he lives and works. He is part of projects such as Amuleto Apotropaico with Antonio Feiteira, Edições Fera Felina with Diana Lucena, and the Branda curatorial project with Carlos Milhazes. In 2018, he released On the Act Of Reminding, his first album under his own name, through his co-founded Edições Fauve. Since 2016, she has participated in various exhibitions, performances, installations, and sound pieces in diverse locations and projects such as the Vila Flor Cultural Center, the Lóios Museum, the Porto Municipal Gallery, the Jardins Efémeros, and the Kubik Gallery. She also participated, in collaboration with Mariana Vilanova, in the 2020 edition of the Semibreve Festival.
