On Thursday 16 July at 6.30 pm, issue 669 of A+U magazine, «Prefabrication Matters», will be presented at Circo de Ideias, featuring a discussion between Samuel Gonçalves (SUMMARY), Giuseppe Resta (CENP/FAUP) and Bárbara Rangel (FEUP).

Architecture and construction are facing increasingly serious challenges – rising costs, environmental impact, labour shortages and a lack of integration between design and construction. Against a backdrop of growing demand for housing, this edition of A+U magazine highlights four groups exploring prefabrication as a possible solution: SUMMARY, ELEMENTAL, Ensamble Studio and People’s Architecture Office.
