Works by Constança Araújo Amador based on poems by Ana Luísa Amaral

Three series of works are presented in dialogue with Ana Luísa Amaral's (ALA) poems "Assim se Revisita o Coração", "Retornos" and "Vozes". In this exercise, ALA's poetry is taken as the driving force behind an artistic creation that explores the rhythmic ritual of word and silence - which designs poetry.

Assuming itself as a reverberation of poetry, the creative gesture opens up infinite movements, inviting us to look again, return to painting, return to reading and feel like coming back. From the role of words to the role of image composition, ALA's poetry makes itself known as an inner state through colour and image - and water, which, in its fluidity, builds the matter of the paint. In these works on a contained scale, the rigorous dimension of the circle and the intimate landscapes announce a relationship between micro and macrocosms, skies and galaxies, seas and hells, in a journey that is always inward. Infinite galaxies emerge from the interartistic dialogue.
