Before words, there were other things. Around rocks drifting in the sky, numbers, lines, and circles were drawn. Theories were torn apart. Through simple experiments, a carnival emerged, as hands went out looking for ideas that only exist in things. In the beginning was Paper.

Bauprobe is a dialogue between materials and forms. An open rehearsal of object theatre filmed on a small-scale proscenium stage. An experiment with construction where materials assert themselves in their attractions and repulsions.
