Encantaria Paraibana — Raízes da Cultura Popular brings to Porto an encounter with different expressions of popular culture from Paraíba, Brazil, featuring Presto do Coco, Clara Potiguara and Monique Melo, from Coletivo Raízes da Cultura Popular, in partnership with Coco dos Quatro Cantos.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, audiences are invited to explore different dimensions of Paraíba’s cultural traditions through screenings of the documentaries Akaju do Norte, Terra de Ciência and Pé de Elefante, followed by a conversation with the artists, two advanced master classes focusing on pandeiro, mineiro (ganzá) and agbê within coco de roda, and live performances by Coco dos Quatro Cantos and Presto do Coco with Clara Potiguara.
