The stage name of Márcio Silva, versatile drummer and percussionist from Porto, Edu Mundo has built a career marked by the fusion of styles and rhythmic mastery. He has stood out in projects such as Souls of Fire, Terrakota, and Diabo na Cruz, and is currently a member of the bands Fogo Fogo and Cordel. He also composes for artists like Ana Moura and António Zambujo. Edu Mundo wrote the songs “Amor Veloz” and “O Farol,” performed by David Pessoa and Buba Espinho, respectively, in the 2018 and 2014 editions of Festival da Canção. His experience and rhythmic creativity make him a key figure across the various collectives he participates in.
