Robotics, Electronics, and Programming Workshop

At Simphonia das Letras, among books, curiosities, and imagination, small devices come to life and transform lines into dance. In Drawbots – Robots that draw, each participant becomes an inventor: wires, motors, and colors come together to create machines that draw on their own, tracing unexpected patterns on paper.

For an hour and a half, the sound of small motors mixes with laughter and discovery. Children aged seven and up build their own robot, exploring simple electronics and creative mechanics, while learning that technology can also be fun and art.

In the end, each young creator takes home not only their Drawbot, but also the experience of seeing their imagination transformed into movement — a small symphony of ingenuity and color.

This event is part of the Pop-Up do Futuro program, an initiative included in Bombarda Digital, a project funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, led by the Municipality of Porto in partnership with Porto Digital, Associação Quarteirão Criativo, and AHRESP.

More than a cultural event, Pop-Up do Futuro is a meeting point for residents, visitors, merchants, and creators, consolidating Bombarda as a territory of innovation, diversity, and experimentation.
