Indian classical music returns to the University of Porto for a concert in the Grand Hall of the Rectorate on 24 October 2026 at 6:30 pm. On the bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute, Jason Kalidas will bring to life the melodic expression of the ragas featured in the programme. Alongside him, the virtuoso Sanju Sahai, who has performed with many of India’s leading musicians, will demonstrate that the tabla is far more than a rhythmic accompaniment instrument, taking on a central role in the musical development of the performance. A unique opportunity to experience the richness of Indian classical music.
