A pianist, composer and improviser, João Paulo Esteves da Silva is one of the most original figures in Portuguese jazz and contemporary music. Trained in classical piano and with a career spanning Portugal, France and various international stages, he has developed a deeply personal musical language in which improvisation, composition and remarkable expressive freedom coexist.
