Orquestra Sinfónica returns to Avenida dos Aliados with a programme steeped in folk tradition, bringing together music from a rich tapestry of regions and cultural expressions. From solemn ceremonial moments to infectious dance rhythms, the concert weaves through the elegance of Viennese operetta with gypsy flair, the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean, and evokes rural Argentine life in a series of orchestral dances inspired by the pampas. The concert will be conducted by Victor Jacob, named Revelation of the Yeart at the 2023 Victoires de la Musique and recipient of a special mention at the 2019 Besançon International Competition.
