Coliseu Heavenwood
Heavenwood
Gótico, dark e melodic death metal
Coliseu Heavenwood

The Coliseu Box (at Coliseu Porto Ageas venue) hosts the band Heavenwood for a one-night celebration: three decades of gothic, dark and melodic death metal, spanning the symphonic intensity of "Abyss Masterpiece" and the hermetic symbolism running through "The Tarot of the Bohemians," a cycle now closed with the release of "Part II."

A special show tracing the band's discography — from "Swallow" to "Redemption" — and revisiting the poetic, mystical imagery that has always defined their identity.

More than three decades ago, in Vila Nova de Gaia, one of Portuguese Metal's most pioneering bands was born. Under the leadership of Ricardo Dias dos Santos, Heavenwood built a singular path that took Portugal to the genre's biggest stages — from "Diva," the first album by a Portuguese Metal band released in Japan, to their historic performance at Wacken Open Air, becoming the first Portuguese act to play the world's largest Heavy Metal festival.

A night designed to celebrate not just a band, but a landmark in the history of Portuguese Metal: resilience, reinvention, and an artistic vision that has crossed generations without losing its melancholic essence.
