Emil Saiz is a guitarist, composer and producer working with the materiality of sound, introspective states and perceptual experience. His music is patient and deliberate, drawing in the listener and engaging deeper levels of attention. Rooted in a sculptural approach to sound, his process involves amplifying and densifying the signal from his instrument through layers of saturation and feedback, giving form to highly textural meditative compositions that foreground resonance and timbre, activating different modes of listening through beating interference patterns and spectral harmonics. His immersive live performances offer intense sensory experiences that play with the elasticity of time, in which sound takes on a tangible presence.
Cycles of Disappearance is his debut LP, released in 2025 by the Swedish tape label Ruby Harvest and recently issued on vinyl by the Madrid-based label Espacio Vacío. The album explores the relationship between sound and mind through expansive drones and fragmented melodic structures that reflect his process of creative deconstruction.
Ian Duclos is a musician, interdisciplinary artist and researcher living and working between Lima, Peru, and Porto, Portugal. His practice is based on experimentation and improvisation through the use of digital technologies, often involving chance operations, remix practices and computer-human co-creation. He has performed and exhibited internationally, collaborating with a wide range of artists and institutions.
