The Porto Orff Orchestra celebrates its 40th anniversary at Casa da Música, continuing the joyful adventure that is making music together. Founded by José Prata, Mário Azevedo and Rui Ferreira, the Orchestra has remained true to its mission: the musical education of children, young people and ‘young musicians’ of all ages. In this concert, the OOP honours its past, celebrates the present and looks to the future – always with the same fundamental elements at its heart: the musicians.
