The Audio, Music and Sound Laboratory (LAMS) is a meeting place open to anyone interested in music technology. It was created following the Porto Electronic Music Symposium (PEMS) and has established itself as a regular space for sharing, experimentation and collective learning. Rather than formal sessions, LAMS promotes informal, practical and collaborative meetings where musicians, technicians, creators and curious minds can exchange ideas, showcase projects and discover new ways of making and thinking about music with technology. The third meeting, All I Want for Christmas is Synths, is an open invitation to a synthesiser jam. Together, we will create a kind of Christmas tree made of intertwined cables, flashing LEDs and lots of sound.
