Visual artist Joana Valente, based in Porto, is a friend and enthusiastic supporter of the Miguel Bombarda Cultural Quarter. She collaborates with projects supporting children with Down’s syndrome and is co-founder of Eu Sou Eu – Association for the Social Inclusion of Children and Young People. She has regularly exhibited and collaborated in the Inaugurações Simultâneas since 2019. On 14 November 2026, she will present her solo project Embracing the World and lead a visual arts activity for children.
