10 years Biruta. 10 years of being biruta. It all began, in fact, at the end of 2013 as a collective of artists, but it was in January 2014 that the first edition was born with a "Tour" of Porto, offered to us by Ollgoody's (a group formed by Logos and Minus & MRDolly), in the form of a documentary rap album. The strong feeling of this undefeated city encouraged us to continue on a restless and independent path. Always searching for clear musical identities, this direction has led us to work with artists from different spectrums, where the taste for melancholy, intimacy and catharsis has prevailed: from Ghetthoven's modern soul, to Tio Rex's folk, to We Bless This Mess's punk, or the various expressions of experimental rap heard in the projects of 4400 OG (David Bruno), Keso, MONA LINDA, redoma, Riça or zé menos. To celebrate 10 years of Biruta Records, we've arranged an unrepeatable moment when the label's active artists will come together: ben yosei, redoma, Riça and zé menos will perform on 4 February at Socorro, Porto.
