Ócio - as an extensive network of people and a liquid space for artistic creation - was born in 2012 as a result of a meeting and commitment between friends. Today, the team is made up of Daniel Assunção, Hugo Oliveira, João Parra, João Soares, Maria von Hafe, Nelson Duarte, Raquel Peixoto, Noémi Silva and Carolina Gaspar. Having already passed through several streets of relevance in the city's cultural history - Rua de S. Vítor, Passos Manuel, Duque da Terceira -, in 2021 it will begin its stay at Rua do Heroísmo, thus inserting itself in one of the most emerging places in Porto's contemporary art scene.
