Clamor is a performance and installation project that explores the connection between the manual striking of a bell and the vocabulary of the vertical string. The focus on this dialogue, which is immediately imbued with symbolism, dissolves into a landscape through the activation of its constituent elements, which intersect and juxtapose, until a space is created that aims to be immersive, yet also essayistic. In the relationship between body, sound, and object, the possibility of a play is sought that also aims to expand the space of action and the limits that circumscribe it through the continuous tension between weight and suspension, tradition and displacement, efficacy and failure. The performance proposes a form of prolonged attention, in an experience of proximity and circulation. Within this spectrum of possibilities, the spectator is invited to inhabit the interval between expectation and event, testing their point of view and wandering between restlessness and desire, discomfort and surrender. — Margarida Montenÿ
