PRECÁRIAS II: Performance Festival (PII:FP) is conceived by the artist Tita Maravilha who, in its second edition, takes it to 5 cities: Lisbon, Porto, Montemor-o-Novo, Viseu and Paris. PII:FP is an intercultural and community creation project, focused on certain bodies-identities — trans, queer, non-binary people, women and racialized people — that is dedicated to creating alternative narratives that enhance contemporary performance, with modus operandi in view of the precariousness of these changing stories. The aim is not to reflect on the ills, but rather to enhance and support, both politically and financially, these bodies within the performing art field in Portugal and the worldwide. PII:FP emerges from the strength of resistance, even in such adverse contexts, and also happens as a collective celebration. Let us promote greater reflection on the world around us.
