Inspired by the visual universe of the film Dogville, this workshop invites families to collectively build a city starting from an empty space, with @_adalgisa_.
Moving away from the traditional table setting, we will work directly on the floor, transforming the ground into a living territory for exploration. Using simple materials: tape lines become streets and pathways; white sheets of paper gain volume and turn into houses, buildings, trees, schools, parks, trains, or anything imagination allows.
Designed for both children and adults, this is a shared creative experience where different generations build side by side, negotiate ideas, make decisions, and shape a common space. More than just a workshop, it offers a moment of connection and real collective making between families.
As the city grows, so do the relationships within it. Where does a house begin? Where does a street end? What happens when different territories meet?
Just like in Dogville, everything is visible, everything is exposed. And it is precisely in this simplicity that imagination gains strength.
Imagined City is a laboratory for spatial experimentation, collaboration, and creative thinking, where each gesture contributes to the construction of a collective landscape in constant transformation.
