Mercado do Sol is a themed urban market selling handmade and semi-industrial items, which may be traditional or contemporary in style. It takes place in Praça Parada Leitão, a name that once corresponded to the current Praça Gomes Teixeira, which Porto also knows as Praça dos Leões. This is also where the famous “Café Piolho,” officially Café Âncora D'Ouro, is located.
