🌟 Latinxs for Palestina: Film & Party Night 🌟
🎬 First, we watch, then we dance!
🗓 Saturday, May 17 | 🕕 18h–22h
📍 Allmo – R. de Faria Guimarães 363, 4000-207 Porto

Join us for a night that starts with storytelling and ends with celebration!

We’re kicking off with a screening of "One Day in Gaza", winner of the 2025 Peabody Award — a powerful documentary showcasing life in Gaza through real footage sent by those living in the heart of the conflict. Directed and edited by Antonia, a Chilean filmmaker based in Porto, the film captures survival and resilience under siege.

After the screening, we’ll have an open conversation with Ruwaida, the film’s co-producer, joining us live from Gaza to share insights on gathering this impactful footage despite the hardships.

Then it’s time to celebrate! Expect Latin music, drinks, barbecue, and good vibes — because joy is resistance too.

🎟 Entry
This event is a fundraiser to help Antonia travel to Los Angeles to represent the film at the Peabody Awards ceremony.

Free entry with proof of donation to her GoFundMe campaign:

Let’s come together in solidarity, storytelling, and Latin celebration!
