Ties that Bind explores and challenges the networks of interdependence linking social, natural, and scientific structures—frameworks that define us and shape how we connect to the world around us. Structures that unite and, at the same time, destabilise. The works of seven artists—selected for the annual Futures exhibition—navigate these tensions of belonging and connection, revisiting affective, territorial, and technological relationships in a search for reconciliation with our fractured worlds.
