After making his solo debut with the album Vibra (2021), JP Coimbra now presents its successor, Revealing, recorded and produced by Leo Abrahams, partner of big names such as Brian Eno, Anohni, Florence + the Machine, Pulp and David Byrne. On the new album, the lyricist and composer of MESA combines voice, piano, synthesizers and analogue textures to create a minimalist and organic sound, exploring both the role of technology and emotion and authenticity. Live, he is joined by musicians Samuel Martins Coelho (violin and electronics), Jorge Coelho (guitars) and João Costeira (drums and samplers).
