Reality has never been just one thing. Today, it is simultaneously simulated, measured and communicated through multiple languages, technologies and systems of knowledge. In this context, it is essential to reflect on how different disciplines construct interpretations of reality that may be complementary, but also contradictory.
The 2nd Symposium “Immersed in Reality” proposes a space for convergence between fields that rarely share the same stage, but that today inevitably intersect: virtual reality, public health and science communication.
This gathering invites participants to reflect on how reality is modelled, experienced and communicated, as well as on the impact these different representations have on the way we understand the world and make decisions.
