Se fosse um filme (If this were a film) explores the possibilities of cinematic sound as a way of reimagining the theatrical space. It is a performance in which sound dramatises, fictionalises, or reinterprets the images with which it comes into contact, generating moments of estrangement and humour, or becoming a metaphor moving between the plausible and the unreal. Such layering of narrative elements—sound coupled with the cinematic and the theatrical—reveals the potential of both: sound as a generator of limitless possibilities; the theatrical with its infinite code of representation.

Following The Watching Machine in 2023, in which optical illusions were the main tool, Macarena Recuerda Shepherd returns to fimp with a new creation exploring cinematic sound design techniques.
