Astra 8 is a planet (a male one or a female one?), containing all infinity.
Its inhabitants proliferate, metamorphose, and coexist in symbiosis. The most extraordinary creatures live in the depths of this body. Some of these beings appear to be made of gelatine or plasticine, others are long like snakes or covered in tiny hairs that allow them to wriggle through their environment. Some have claws, others have no eyes, some coexist peacefully with the other beings around them, while others start wars that threaten to destroy it all, even the very planet on which they live. Most of the time, our planet does not even realise that there are living beings living within it, or even on its surface. From the point of view of a planet, the largest of creatures may be insignificant.

This new creation marks Costanza Givone’s return to fimp after she presented Fogo Lento, a project that was awarded the Isabel Alves Costa Creation Grant in 2018.
