Between 2021 and 2025, fimp, in partnership with Teatro de Ferro, created 5 short films featuring moving objects as their protagonists. These are genuine action films, filled with jumps, somersaults, chain reactions, explosions, and other unexpected twists. Over the years, we have invited a number of artists to explore this universe. Throughout this playful yet challenging creative process, one thing quickly became clear: objects are remarkably temperamental—they only ever do what they want, when they want.

The format has remained consistent over the years. We always use the same space and working conditions: a week of work including experiments and construction from Monday to Friday, and filming on Saturday.

These short films were shown on the partner theatre venues, as well as on the screens of Metro do Porto, where they were seen by millions of passengers.

In 2026, a new film based on all the others will be made.
