"A cuddle party is a space of tactile experience with other people, and a safe and caring setting. People come here to heal, relax and feel support. Usually it’s ±10 people doing the practice.

The practice is consent-based, which means that each person retains their agency and can freely choose whether or not to interact. Interactions require verbally expressed mutual agreement and must comply with the event rules. Taking breaks and witnessing the practice are also possible ways of being present.
