Corte Liminal

“In a single suspended piece, paper becomes a translucent body made of water and pigment. Between light and shadow, matter and immateriality, Teresa Adão Fonseca’s (TAF) work invites us to cross a threshold: a suspended instant where body, memory, and nature converge.”

Teresa TAF was born in Porto, where she currently lives and works. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where she was awarded the Viana de Lima Prize 2024 for academic excellence.

She has lived, traveled, and studied in different countries, and the diversity of these experiences runs through her work. As a multidisciplinary artist, she gazes at the world with a distinctive poetics, diving into different media to reflect on Space and Time. Her practice is a continuous search for fertile and feminine spaces—gestures of love, time, and truth. A return to origins, an approach to nature, and to what is most beautiful and pure.
