From Heinrich Isaac, who left his mark on Renaissance vocal music, to the revolutionary Schoenberg's immersion in traditional melodies, we also explore the great figures of choral Lied, with pieces by Schumann, Brahms, Fanny Hensel and Silcher, who share a common inspiration in music that comes from their roots.
