Over the course of a week, Casa da Música hosts the main category of the Santa Cecília International Competition, becoming the piano capital for dozens of pianists from around the world. After passing two solo qualifying rounds and a quintet round with soloists from the Symphony Orchestra, the three finalists will perform a work from the concert repertoire accompanied by the Porto Casa da Música Symphony Orchestra. The concert will include the awards ceremony, during which the winner will be announced.
