The release of her first album, “Soupirs,” marks her entry into the world of composition.
______________
Dance workshop: Anatomy of a waltz
What is a waltz anyway? What distinguishes this dance from others? What is a basic step and what is a variation? What should I listen for in a waltz? What do we say in silence during a waltz? These and other questions are the starting points for a workshop that will seek to turn the waltz inside out and back again.
We will trace the anatomy of a waltz from its foundations to its greatest potential, following the simple waltz to the complexity of multiple tempos. This workshop is for those who dare to continually learn and relearn.
