Singer-songwriter André Rio returns for the 2026 edition of the “Viva Pernambuco” concert, which has been touring the world since the start of the millennium, showcasing a veritable mosaic of rhythms and trends in Brazilian music and culture – particularly from Pernambuco and the Northeast – featuring songs by legends such as Luiz Gonzaga, Alceu Valença, Paulo Diniz, Capiba, Getúlio Cavalcanti, Dominguinhos and Jackson do Pandeiro. The repertoire also includes songs by André Rio and his guests.
“Dance, Dance, Dance”, a Pernambuco maracatu with pop and world music influences, was composed by the artist as a symbol of the spirit he aims to capture on this tour: a celebration rooted in the fusion of Brazil’s cultural diversity and world music.
