WORKSHOP SINGING: Forest Songs

The forest is a magical, mysterious place that has inspired humanity since the beginning of time. Wondrous flowers grow, majestic trees speak, animals and other creatures all live in the forest. It is a place to hide when we don’t want to be seen, or to get lost in forever. In this workshop, we will sing about and for the forest, learning about the legends, tales, and (super) natural beings that inhabit the forest in Slavic culture.
Traditional singing allows us to reconnect with our natural voice, learn to listen to others, and feel part of a group. Singing can be a means of communication, a way to heal the soul, relax, get to know others, and get to know oneself.
The workshop is open to anyone interested in discovering their voice and improving their breathing and singing techniques.
Be sure to bring comfortable clothes, a bottle of water and a good mood!
