“Entre Elementos”
Synopsis: We found in the four elements—Earth, Water, Air, and Fire—landscapes in constant transformation. Through body, sound, and space, different qualities of movement, rhythm, and presence are drawn, in a sensory game where the elements meet, merge, and reinvent themselves.
19h30 – Adult Theatre
Teachers: Rui Spranger and Mané Carvalho
“Sold Out”
Synopsis: Six people share the same space due to rising housing prices. Coexistence becomes a condition imposed by the lack of alternatives.

27 JUN | Theatre Performances – Balleteatro Educational Service
16h30 – Theatre Classes (7–11 years old)
Teacher: Mané Carvalho
“Os Princezinhos”
Synopsis: Inspired by The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, we created a version in which each child is a little prince from a distant planet.
They bring dreams, curiosity, and the desire to discover other worlds.
Along the journey, they discover that not all planets are perfect, and that the most important things in life are not seen with the eyes but felt with the heart.
Through encounters and learning, they understand that each connection makes everything unique, and that no matter how far one goes, the heart always finds its way home.
Teacher: Rosário Costa
“Histórias da Floresta”
Synopsis: Once upon a time, there was a forest where all stories lived: traditional fairy tales, the misadventures of today’s YouTubers, fables from when animals spoke, and the deeds of children who ventured into it. We immersed ourselves in it and played throughout the year.
This performance is what we recovered from that immersion.
19h30 – Theatre Classes (12–15 years old)
Teacher: Mané Carvalho
“Biblioteca”
Synopsis: Everything begins in a library, where books become a starting point for new discoveries. From the pages emerge stories, characters, and emotions that inhabit the collective imagination. Each group dives into a different universe, giving body and voice to narratives that cross generations. Books become scenery, costume, and inspiration, dissolving the boundaries between reality and fantasy. In this space of discovery, we realise that each story lives on in those who read, reinvent, and share it—and that within a library there are infinite ways of finding ourselves.
Teacher: Rosário Costa
“Crime de Natal”
Synopsis: In this Christmas Crime, we inhabit the characters of François Ozon’s film 8 Women—an adaptation of the play by Robert Thomas—allowing ourselves to explore different universes from our own and stage a story of suspense and mystery.
----------
29 JUN | Theatre Performances – Balleteatro Educational Service
20h00 – Theatre (Adults | 16+ years old)
Teacher: Micaela Soares
“Despertar”
Synopsis: Based on the symbolic foundation of Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening, which takes place under a silent and oppressive regime, we created the performance Awakening. It stems from the idea of an authoritarian and inadequate system, bringing together various contemporary themes and raising the question: are we all part of the current state of the world?
