Balleteatrinho is a workshop in which participants are invited to explore movement and the interpretation of a children’s literary work. It is an introductory workshop designed to raise awareness of and provide an introduction to the worlds of dance, theatre, cinema, circus, visual arts and music, through the stimulation of creativity and imagination. At the end of the session, family members are invited to watch the outcome of the workshop in a short performance presented by the participants.

Sónia Cunha was born in Porto. She has been teaching Classical Ballet at Balleteatro since 1996. She began her Classical Dance studies at Escola de Bailado Fátima Valle da Veiga, following the Royal Academy of Dancing method. In 1994, she completed the Professional Dance Course at Balleteatro Escola Profissional. She has been a performer with Balleteatro Companhia since 1992, where she has danced in several works by Isabel Barros and Né Barros. She has attended workshops led by Jordi Cortès Molina, João Fiadeiro, Clara Andermatt, Peter Michael Dietz, Paulo Ribeiro, among others. She is a Ballet teacher at Balleteatro Escola Profissional. In 2020, she collaborated with the group Ensemble in the movement work of the piece Vivo (coração) Morta.
