What if the best way to explore your creativity… is by making art in unexpected ways?
This workshop is for anyone, whether you’re just starting out or already make art and want to push your creative edges.
The random materials and rules are intentional. They take away the “perfect” starting point, which helps people let go of trying to make something good and instead just explore, experiment, and see what happens.
The restrictions and randomness take the pressure off and force you to think differently, experiment more, and let go of trying to make something “good.”
This workshop comes from the idea that art should be fun and for everyone and not something people avoid because they think they're not good enough. It’s about letting go of perfectionism and getting back to creating just for the sake of it.
Once everyone has created their piece, we come together for a relaxed art sharing. Each person has the option to present their work and reflect on their experience in a supportive space.
It’s playful, a little unpredictable, and a chance to enjoy making art without trying to get it right.
